![]() The main beach is lovely & they do have free supervised activities for children & when tide is out there are shallow paddling areas. It took us about 8min drive in & found quite a cheap car park before actually getting into New Quay (its on the way in) & then about 5mins stroll into town - end up by the main town car park (near the sometimes smelly beach - cos of the fish factory). Sea can be rough but quite good for boarding & saw a few people with kayaks.
